Mortgage licensees must complete two-hour Utah Law course for 2015 Renewal

In order to renew a Utah Mortgage Loan Originator or Lending Manager license later this year for the 2015 license renewal, all licensees must complete the 2 hour commission-approved Utah law continuing education course in addition to the NMLS requirement of 8 hours of continuing education.

This two-hour course is offered by Division-approved instructors and the CE hours are tracked in Division records outside of your NMLS account.  

You will be able to request renewal upon completion of the NMLS 8 hour CE requirement, however your license will not be approved until Utah licensing staff confirms completion of the additional two-hour Utah law course.

To avoid any delays with your renewal, and to ensure an on-time renewal, all CE (8 hour NMLS and 2 hour Utah law) must be completed by December 15, 2014.  Prior to submitting your renewal request, make sure that all deficiencies on your license have been cleared and verify that your contact information is up to date.
