Summary of Qualifications to become a Loan Officer in Idaho include:

 

  1. Completed application;
  2. $200 application fee;
  3. $100 recovery fund payment;
  4. Pre-license education-20 hours;
  5. Pre-license national component test;
  6. Pre-license Idaho component test.

  • The mandatory $30 NMLS banking fee
  • Instructor led videos to ensure a positive learning experience

This course is a 20 hour course these hours include;

  • Three hours of Federal law
  • Three hours of ethics (which shall include fraud, consumer protection, and fair lending issues)
  • Two hours of non-traditional mortgage lending
  • Ten hours of undefined education (referred to as electives)
